Long time no see everyone! This month has been a whirlwind of events so far and this Saturday I will be taking "Van Alpha" on it's first road trip to Norfolk! Stashi will be at the MacArthur center with a bunch of other makers/vendors from 11am-7pm. If you live around VA Beach, Williamsburg, and Norfolk this is a great opportunity to pet some Stashi yarn in person. I will also have assembled June "Dirty Car" Summer Staycation Kits available to purchase since they will officially launch this Saturday.
Also a road trip means it's time for a playlist! However, before I get to that, it is time for some announcements:
There are some June Summer Staycation Packages still available! Snag this limited edition set and colorway before it's gone.
Summer Staycation Packages begin shipping tomorrow 5/20! Woot woot! After Friday morning the next shipment will be made on Monday since I will be a busy beaver at events this weekend.
Next Friday I'll be bringing Staycation Packages to Safespace Market RVA. Head on over to the Lakeside Farmer's Market from 5-8 PM 5/28 to support businesses owned by LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC! I''ll also be there this June.
Next Saturday is The Pop Up at the Diamond's Hard Seltzer Day! I will be there for extended hours from 10-6 PM!
Last but not least- the playlist! It is the first playlist on The Stashi Yarn Van's Official Youtube- which you all are the first to know about. Ta-da! The playlist is approx. 1.5 hours along (about how long my drive to Norfolk will be) and is quite stylistically diverse. My goal for this was to capture the typical emotions that go through a market day from driving to venues, excitement, anxiety, elation, waiting, making sales, and chilling out in the bath at the end of the day. I included the original music videos where I could (sadly some of the tracks from other countries didn't have official videos accessible in the US) and you will see quite an eclectic variety- dance clubs, animated Uber, puppets, outfits I want to steal, drag queens, and motorcycles. A fair warning that there are some explicit tracks for those that are concerned about that for various reasons. Here is the link and enjoy!
